Algo is a clinical decision tool released in 2013 to support non-occupational therapists (e.g., homecare aids) involved in the allocation of hygiene care equipment for seniors living at home (e.g. bath seat). Algo's level of adoption through the various healthcare services in Québec varies. The present study aims to analyze the process of knowledge translation (KT) of Algo using the conceptual framework: Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Sciences (PARIHS). Specifically, objectives are to: (1) establish the current level of adoption of Algo, (2) understand the process of adoption of Algo and (3) identify the KT strategies to promote in order to facilitate the adoption of new knowledge, developed in partnership with clinical settings, in home support services in Québec.
