Mission
The Réseau de Médicine Génétique Appliquée (RMGA) is a network of multi- and transdisciplinary researchers. Its objective is to support and develop basic and applied human genetic research by creating, managing and promoting scientific infrastructures and knowledge transfer through health services and interventions, for the benefit of the Quebec population. The Network has ~350 members, representing the majority of human genetics researchers in Quebec.
The RMGA is organized into the following five strategic themes: "Patient Registries and Biobanks", "Population and Statistical Genetics", "Next-generation Integrative Genomics", "Health Technology Transfer" and "Legal and socio-ethical issues ".
