The FRQS and N2 Join Forces to Bolster Clinical Research

The Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Network of Networks (N2), a Canadian alliance working to enhance national clinical research, to provide the 17 research centres that it supports with free access to N2 resources, which include a range of key clinical research tools such as standard operating procedures and online training.

"The FRQS encourages the adoption of best practices in clinical research and is therefore especially pleased to provide Québec researchers with privileged access to every expertise of the Network of Networks through its 80 member organizations. N2 has become a key figure in clinical research development across Canada," affirmed Dr. Renaldo Battista, scientific director of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé.

"This is an exciting milestone for all and is a great step forward in enhancing national clinical research capability and capacity," added Karen Arts, Co-Founder and Chair of the Board of Directors of N2.

The Network of Networks (N2) is a not-for-profit incorporated organization and an alliance of Canadian research networks and organizations working to enhance national clinical research capability and capacity. Bringing together trialists and clinical research professionals from across the country, N2 provides a common platform for sharing best practices, resources and research-related content to ensure efficient and high-quality research, integrity of clinical practices and accountability. The organization is truly representative of clinical research in Canada and acts as a national voice and advocate on behalf of a broad range of stakeholders that have an impact on the efficiency and quality of clinical trials conducted in Canada.
