Indirect research expenses
As of the 2014–2015 fiscal year, in keeping with the financial reforms pertaining to full research funding announced in March 2014 by the Québec government, the three Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQS, FRQNT and FRQSC) will add 27% to the amount granted for each project to cover indirect research expenses.
In order to facilitate the payment plan for these expenses and meet the needs of its research community, the FRQS will develop an FAQ on the topic. In June, the Fonds will post a list of programs under which indirect research expenses are eligible as well as a description of types of expenses on its website.
